Experience is multiplied by 5: killing monsters, completing quests, discovering new areas, Dungeon Finder quests, battleground kills and even your pet. You still see every zone and every story, you just spend far less time grinding between them.

Rested experience works as in the original game: log out in an inn or a city to earn it.
Weapon and defense skills x2
Picked up a new weapon? Every weapon and defense skill-up gives 2 points instead of 1, so you will not spend an hour hitting boars to use that new axe.

Death KnightHero class: starts at level 55 in its own zone.
WarriorPlate, rage and big two-handers.
PaladinTank, heal or smite with the Light.
HunterYour pet levels five times faster too.
RogueStealth, poisons and combo points.

Leveling tips
- Use the Dungeon Finder (I) while you quest: its quests give x5 experience too.
- Battlegrounds give x5 experience for kills: a fun break from questing.
- Reputation is x2: wear a faction tabard in Northrend dungeons for a fast Exalted.
