On MaeloWOW every profession skill-up gives 2 points instead of 1, for crafting and for gathering. Leveling Blacksmithing or Alchemy to 450 takes roughly half the crafts, and far fewer materials.

Tips
- Pair a gathering profession with a crafting one (Mining + Blacksmithing, Herbalism + Alchemy…).
- Gold drops are x1.5: it is easier to buy the recipes you need.
- Profession trainers still teach the recipes: visit them in any capital city.
